Invoice matching

Invoice matching is the comparison of invoice data with other approved records to determine whether the obligation is consistent and ready for the next step. Depending on the purchase, matching may use the order, receipt, service entry, contract, tax, quantity, price, or tolerance rules. Mismatches route for evidence-based review rather than automatic payment or rejection.
