Demand consolidation

Demand consolidation is the controlled grouping of compatible requests so the organization can source, negotiate, order, or schedule them together. Consolidation may improve leverage and reduce duplicate effort, but it must respect timing, specifications, locations, budgets, and operational needs. The decision should remain visible so urgent or specialized demand is not delayed merely to create volume.
